Russian ruble dives to record lows of 79 vs US dollar, 86 vs euro

MOSCOW, Jan 18 (PRIME) -- The exchange rate of the Russian ruble dove by 1.40 rubles to 79 against the U.S. dollar on 3:45 p.m. Moscow time on Monday and it fell 1.34 rubles to 86.02 against the euro, record lows since December 2014, according to data of the Moscow Exchange.

Brent traded at U.S. $28.8 per barrel.
